the cumminscat guy has some wrong info. in his description his filter is the primary and the stock filter is the secondary. his filter should be providing secondary filtration as it is the smallest micron rating. in any multi filter install the first filter should have the largest micron rating with each consecutive filter decreasing in micron rating capturing smaller particulates. in the cumminscat example the stock filter is not doing anything of value as all filtration is provided by the primary cat filter.
