Alright, so a while back my headgasket blew on my engine. I decided i would do a full rebuild while i was at it. When i took it apart, I found a couple bent pushrods. The rods all looked pretty good, no bronzing from the oil. The bearings looked pretty dang good as well, only slight amounts of copper showing through on a couple of them. The cylinders still had small amounts of cross-hatching.
The rebuild is including these parts-
Brand new head with 60lb valve springs and o-rings.
DDP stg 2 injectors
Coated pistons
Full rebuild kit-bearings, bushings, wrist pins, gaskets etc...
Push rods
ARP head studs
Goerend Converter
I will be honing the cylinders, and cleaning the block up with fine grit sandpaper. Everything is being painted as well.
Everything else, like the cam, crank, and IP will remain how they were. My question is, how does a recipe like this sound? Anything i should add in there? Keeping in mind that my budget is very limited at this point.
Thanks guys.
