Oh, LOL.

I used the same link when I went through my first pump. Looked all over the house for 4 hours looking for that spring. Finally decided we must not have one. LMFAO..... been there done that man.

Good thing! I think he was dreading a return trip to the fuel shop and it's "experts".

More than anything I wanted to get her done today. I got the pump rebuilt no problem. Took my time and if I wasn't sure about something I took a little break and looked at the computer for a few minutes. Hardest part was mounting it back up to be honest.

The guys at the pump shop were ok. Just a little uppity about their craft. That's fine by me as long as they have parts at reasonable prices when I need them. I wanted to replace every spring in the pump and the guy flat told me the only springs that ever go bad in these are the return springs. He saved me some bucks on that one so I shouldn't complain (at least until I break one of the other springs).

Well, I got her up and running. One problem. I got a little leak at the locking screw. The one with the weird pacman shaped washer on it. Can I take it out to put another o ring in it without messing anything up?

You may have fuel come out when you take the locking screw out. It change anything inside though.

Sorry, removing the locking screw to replace the o ring won't change anything internally on your pump. Its basically a set screw to keep the pump shaft from turning when you remove it.
