denny t fuel pin issue

Postby tim curran » Wed Jan 29, 2014 8:28 pm

Denny t fuel pin is all worn out were the dowel pin rides against the the curve in the fuel pin. It is so worn the dowel hangs up. I tried to clean up the grove but now there isn't enouph material left so the fuel pin is sticking in the cylinder were the pin moves. Any body have the same issue.

I used to have one and it got a big groove worn it it. It was also cut too deep so the pin slid out far enough that I had a fuel leak. I sent Denny T an email and he said he would replace it for free, but I never did send it back. I guess I could have sold the new one, but after getting a nice fuel leak from it I decided not to pass the problem on to someone else. It did add quite a bit of pep over the stocker, but after I ground my stock one down it ran nice and had no leaks.

I had the same issues a few years back. Seems he got a bad batch of steel that was too soft. Anyways he replaced mine no questions asked with a new one.

This pin caused my fuel leak I tried to fix it but no such luck. Can I just email Denny t and tell him my problem.

when I contacted him about the issue, he sent me a stage 2. I contacted him again, with the new pin and the issue.... he never responded back.

I've been told he has made a "new stage 1" that is not cut as deep.........but ?????????

I run the BD Performance pin, because it has a straight ramp and is not cut too deep.

I had the same issue with my stg2 (grooving), i emailed him and he told me to send it back for free replacement. I had him send me a stg1 instead, so far so good and i like the fueling characteristic of the stg1 better.
