Put a proper wastegate on it. Trust me, it is much more fun

Hook 12 volts to the solenoid. See if anything changes. Just for kicks.

10-4 I thought I read somewhere when they have 12 volts it will open the gate at around 40 but, not for sure, that was a while ago I'll have to try it

That's correct. Way back when I first put a 351 on.....I tried to close the gate, etc...... I couldn't get over 30 psi.... ran 12 volt power to it, and was at 43 psi.

Wired it up to 12v not really much change may have gotten up to 38 39lbs
Still have some extra fuel up top I think, definitely have it on the low end.
Idk might take the intercooler out re gasket all the intake gaskets on the engine and start over...

At least you are getting MORE now. Put a boost elbow on there now.

An elbow on??? The turbo?
I guess that never crossed my mind if I put my gauge line over on the turbo it would tell me if anything ahead of it is leaking correct?

It will tell you if your IC is leaking.

Boost elbow: Used to restrict boost getting to the wastegate effectively raising the required pressure to open the wastegate.

Ahh gotcha at the moment it's got a hose, a bolt,2 clamps and some silicone as my boost elbow so I could be sure that it's not opening the wastegate ;)

No it won't. It doesn't matter where the gauge is, it reflects the system pressure. If the IC is leaking the pressure won't build anyplace.

Anyone ever put a boost gauge on compressor outlet and the intake manifold at the same time to see if there was pressure drop on an intercooled setup?
