My truck is having all the problems right now that fergays truck has. lol

The difference is I never removed the pump from the motor. I have swapped the head turbos etc.. but the pump has not moved.
I talked to a reputable diesel shop and they told me that they remembered a few years back that a customer swapped his pump and upon reassembly got 2 of his inj. lines back in the wrong location on the pump and it acted exactly like my truck.

So does anyone have a pic of the back of the pump thats labeled with which inj. line goes where ???

In a circle they go in firing order 1-5-3-6-2-4.

OK I went out for a quick look this morning and # 1 and 5 werent right next to each other.

So I have lines in the wrong location. Im surprised it started at all.

I need to know where #1 should be so I can pull them off and start over.

Also clockwise or cc on the order.

Anyone ????

I got it figured out. #1 is the very bottom port. from there just follow the firing order on around.

Shes running good now. Still got to play with the wastegates as on the maiden voyage it made like 70 lbs of boost before it blew a boot. lol

Nothing like the sound that big turbo makes when it lites.

Hmmm, makes you wonder if fergavs had his lines mixed up too?

Glad you got it running. That's one of the reasons I don't seperate the lines, just pull them in 2 sets of 3. ;)

Everything he described my truck did exactly the same.

I had seperated my lines from each other so I could polish them up.
I am really suprised it ran at all that way. Once I reinstalled them it started right up and idled nicely.

With everything I read in his post its the 1st thing I would check on his truck.

Did he ever get his running ???

Nope, pulled the pump and sent it back to CK, who probably won't find anything wrong with it.

Haha I wish. :D There were some metal/aluminum shavings from a random source in the pump. It was cleaned out checked over and put back together. Damn thing still doesnt run though. I did check my lines now and made a post regarding them. They were correct. Kinda wished they werent, that woulda been an easy fix. ;)
