If done with a lot of hydrogen the potential is tremendous, but your average electrocell isn't going to make enough for power gains. Maybe a little by burning uncombusted Diesel fuel, which supposedly happens with fumigated fuels.

I think that you'd really need a tank of pressurized hydrogen to make big power, like have an electrocell make hydrogen and a compresser pump it up to 200 PSI in a 5 gallon storage tank.

Hydrogen is far more knock resistant than propane or methanol, so it should be good for stock Diesel pistons at high boost.

But it's also supposed to burn slow, and it's going to displace oxygen. But we have plenty of oxygen capability, our engines are fuel limited.

I understand what your saying about hydrogen, but as you say it isn't easy to produce in volume. If we can inject propane, with it's high auto ignition rate, it would also seem that up to a given volume of methyhol could be injected without problem.

I know meth isn't as high on the auto ignite scale as propane (thanks for the link), but its a lot higher than diesel or gasoline. I guess that is what some are doing with water/meth, but likely not near the volume of meth I would like to try. One benefit I think is that the methyhol would atomize well, especially as it is sprayed together with the N20, and thus help cool the intake charge.

It is just really an interesting concept to me, especially on a VE pump pulling engine.

My association will allow nitrous, so when I get this thing together I may have to scrounge up a wet system and just try it with the methynol to find out.....

The idea of having compressed hydrogen scares me, I read a link of a guy that created a hydrogen bubbler, he had his cell and about 4 other tanks, each one would feed off of the top of the one before that is how he got pure hydrogen but didnt have any backfeeding. He hooked it up to a lawnmover to see if it would run, first pull the lawnmower backfired and blew the guy his garage and all of his stuff to smitherenes. That was a couple of gallon jugs what would a 20 gallon container with 100 psi against it be like. Accidental spark close to it and GOODBYE.

Begle you should reason water for fuel. I hear alot of people have great mpg success and power success with is. Supposed to burn alot cleaner to. Basically is uses energy from your alternator those break down water into hydrogen and oxygen through the process of electrolysis. The two gasses are the injected into your intake before the turbo. Interesting technology that works. I would be doin it myself, but i'm broker than a frenchman's foot when he needs to run to a fight.
