I'm not good at guessing HP, I will say you should upgrade your lift pump though. With big injectors and your fuel screw turned in you will start starving your injection pump for fuel, which will not only hurt power, but it will also hurt the lifespan of your pump. I also picked up some of the MPG's I lost after I installed my low pressure piston pump. The governor spring is also a must do.

The low pressure piston pump is a cummins part. I'm not sure if the part numbers for all the required parts are in the sticky here but they are definitely in the sticky over on http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/. I've also been told that you can get the same parts from a case dealer for less money.

Not anymore. :(

When I bought mine about 3 months ago, Case had just changed their price and it was about $70 more than Cummins charged me.

Then again, the Cummins price isn't that ridiculous to start with, I think I had about $170.00 total in mine including lines and gaskets/spacer.

If I had went directly to cummins it wouldn't have been so bad for me, but I went through a local shop cause I didn't know any better  . I think it cost me around $250, but that's ok, It's just money  , and I like the shop I gave my money to.

What exactly did you need besides the pump? A spacer?

$260 doesn't seem too bad, the low pressure piston pump has skyrocketed in price.

Go to DTR and in the first gen tech section they have a list of all the parts you need to do a piston pump with the part numbers.
