Alright, now that my 14 hour shifts are over its back to working on my junk again. I got the Cummins in my chevy and been running it in the driveway, but the first time i moved it with its own power the pump started leaking!!!! Its leaking from right under the spring in the pic. So how much trouble is a diesel first timer thats very inclined in?
Next leak is from the top of my dipstick tube, is my vent hose plugged maybe? Thanks in advance, this is killin me!

Oh and it is turned up, fuel screw, smoke screw, star wheel, timing bump, and the KSB isnt wired up, and the shut down is gutted. Just in case any of that might be screwin me up.

The leak at the dipstick tube is normal- time and miles harden the rubber seal and it leaks.
The leak in the picture is your throttle shaft seal, likely caused by slack/ wear in your throttle bushing. Time for a reseal and new springs.

The seal is not so much the problem its getting everything back the way you had it that just so happens to be a touchy spot...instance man had pump worked on by another shop and they didnt mark the shaft coming out of the pump went to put it on wouldnt start except about 3/4 throttle wouldnt idle just die and etc. 2hrs later of me jacking with it on the truck and got it set where it would idle low but picke the rest of it up with 2 1/2 turns on the fuel screw truck runs fine make sure you mark stuff before you take anything apart otherwise its a pain and very touchy one move is not a enough and another is running like wide open at start and it was 1/16th of an in. difference
