J-jets are the cummins term for the bolt in piston cooling nozzles which do spray oil. In the 6b series they are intended to spray into a gallery in the bottom of the piston that allows more cooling to the piston crown. That is how come they can run continuous 1300+deg EGT and make 325rhwp without melting down.
