whats the reasoning behind machinging the rocker stands? are they new ones or something??
93 w250 reg cab. rigged up stock downpipe to 4 inch to 5 inch exhaust from p.o. mild pump tweaks and all other stock for now. Project "smoke a little smoke". www.c-techperformance.com

Yeah, no kidding. The ARP head stud kit requires you to either cut down the rocker or clearance your valve cover.
You must bottom tap the holes also to get full stud penetration...

Per there instruction..

All I did was bottom tap and they went in perfect. No other milling or cutting required, I was surprised because I heard everywhere that all the other stuff HAD to be done. Maybe I got a special short set. LOL
90 w250 LE, pump turned up, 4" turbo back, I/C conversion, 366 GS, DennyT pin, 6x18's, BHAF, soon to come... 6" stacks and built head.

ITS RUNNING!!! Put about 100 miles on the old girl. Took it easy have one more tq to do on the head. Very smooth running it even quiter then my 2nd GEN.

How did the cam effect spool, did it reduce your EGT's, doen it run or sound different? Come on spill your guts! When I changed mine it was a world of difference.

I have been working the last few days. The truck is in the garage waiting my next drive.. It runs much smoother sounds different and yes the turbo comes on very fast. I have not stuck my foot in it still one more TQ to do..
