Fuel filtration filter rating?

What micron filtration am I supposed to run? What micron filtration should I run?
1990 D-250 Regular Cab: Tweaked injection pump, built transmission, a cataclysmic charlie foxtrot of electronics, the most intense street-ran water injection system in the country, and some more unique stuff.

Stock FS1232 is 25 micron, not 10 micron as some would lead you to believe. FS1221 is 23 micron. Tighter the filtering, the quicker you will need to change it. What you should run? You got me
