Hey guys..just ordered a Denny T stage 2 fuel pin... anybody have one? if so how do you like it? I have a bully dog pin installed now.. and I'm not too impressed with it..

I personally dont have one but have read allot of great things about them. If I could afford it I would get one in a heart beat.

I went from the Ol' Smokey type pin (similiar to the Bully Dog) to a DennyT right before my #1 piston gave up, and I loved the difference! The DennyT, just as the profile suggests, fuels harder at low boost than the Ol' Smokey did. However, that's not saying that the Ol' Smokey pin wasn't fun too...it just had a weird lag where the profile humped, but once over the hump it was off to the races. Lots more smoke on take off with the DennyT. But, you can play with the smoke screw and the starwheel to "fine tune" it with either pin.

I love mine, and it added quite a bit of pep to an otherwise stock truck. Definitely worth the $100 to me.

No difference that I could tell, but since my odo doesn't work, I can't tell you with 100% certainty. Most guys will tell you mileage won't be affected though.

Actually I've heard good things about power with Dennys pin, but economy is not so great. Just wanted to see if this is what y'all are seeing as well.

Hows does the pin wear? Does it develop a groove over time? I hear some pins get a groove if it is not made out of hard enough steel. I have a stock pump and I have been thinking about it.

If you take the cone out in a few thousand miles, there would be a noticeable wear mark, where the pin rides the cone, but it won't be a gouge. He uses very hard steel, the prevents gouging.

As far as mileage, most of it is controlled by the right foot.
