My truck has almost 360,000 on her, just wandering what's some good stuff to go threw and look at and check in the motor after all these miles, thinking of getting the values adjusted/checked and what not just not sure if their's anything else I should look into doing while im working on her.

i think there's a bearing or thrust washer something in the injection pump at 250, can't remember it though.
91 3/4 Ton 4x4, 5.9 Cummins,DDP Fuel Pin I usually leave it out though, DDP 40 Horse Sticks, HX35W And 2nd Gen Intercooler, Single 5'' Trunout, NV5600 Swap, Dually Conversion, 3.08 Rear Gears, Soon A Custom Hauler Bed

Ok, looked in the FSM and the operators book. Doesn't say anything about checking a thrust washer. Actually, nothing out of the ordinary beyond checking and changing oils, belts, hoses and such.

Now on the other hand, it wouldn't be a bad idea to check the thrust on the crank, especially if you have a standard trans. This is on my list of "to do's" while I have the truck inside.

that is a very smart theing to do. my rear main started leaking extremely bad one week, normal drip over night was usual. pulled her out and found the thrust bearing was broke in pieces, riding up against the crank
1993 Dodge W250 Reg cab. Auto, .010" headgasket, A1 Studs. Just the Lil Ole VE pump Fuelin 7x.014's turnin the Aurora 3000 turbo. 5" Turbo back to Duals. :cbadge:

I had a '91 engine in my old '96 that had so much thrust, it beat up on the NV4500.
It seems like it had @ 3/8 inch of thrust.
The engine had about 350,000 miles on it when I installed it in the '96.
Now it's probably around 400,000, and it was ALWAYS in front of a 5 speed.

Ask Pullit about the thrust on it. :lol:

I just now put a NV4500 in it so the last 358,#%# miles where with an A518 auto.
