dumb question, shut down solenoid.

ok my truck has ben doing something funky the past few days. when i turn the key off the truck will stay running not like normal running but its getting enough fuel to keep firing. now i know the answer but im going to ask anyways, is this the shutdown solenoid going south on me? thanks for the help guys. :grin:

Yes you are right.

Sounds like you chipped the end of the plunger. Pull it out and look at the rubber tip. Maybe file it smooth if it has a piece missing. Then stretch the spring a little and stuff 'er back in. ;)
