My 2 NOS pumps bear part number "419-*" and are both natural (aluminum) in color with a ~200th day of 1993 dating.
Oddly enough, the pump that was on my '91.5 1 ton flatbed is PAINTED and bears a 419- number and has an assembly date of 23rd day of 1995.
Is there anything CONCLUSIVE on what number was on the recalled injection pumps?
I'm running on the assumption that the 205 pump was the recall one, but I've seen a good number of the '93s with 205s on them and NO recall.

The truck that I just bought had the pump replaced by the first owner, supposedly under warranty. (I got this info verbally from the second owner, so who knows what really happened.) However, the VIN shows the pump update as "Incomplete". I assume that if I bring the truck in, they'll check the numbers on the pump before they actually replace it . . . but has anyone with a similar situation tried to get a new pump?

I am surprised that they don't seem to have a record of replacing the pump.
