Here's my $.02. Your daily driving route looks like all city to me. Getting 14.5 mpg out of a 4x4 dually in the city is pretty good in my mind. To give you a comparison, my regular cab non-OD 2wd truck gets 18-19 on summer fuel. Granted I tow hay wagons almost everyday and I almost never spend more than 30 min at 55-60 mph. The best tank I have ever gotten was 20.8 mpg.

I hate to say it, but you may be at the peak of efficiency

Not really "city", I don't ever spend time in traffic wishing I could move forward a few feet, more reach cruising speed and maintain that for a few miles then stop for a stop sign.

You're getting 18-19 towing without od?

Most days during the summer I pull hay wagons back to the farm (<5 miles) and thats going no faster than 30 mph. If I were to guess a wagon weighs 10k (75 lbs per bale x 125 bales plus 1000 lbs for the wagon). 19 is rare, but I expect 18. I also have 3.07 read end gears

Update. I initally tuned the starwheel down 1.5 turns and rotated the pin to the deepest side, but in the quest for better economy I turned the starwheel back to stock and then up two full turns. I figured the bigger injectors would make up the boost to still have full use of the pin. I was right, in fact I went from 25psi peak boost to 27psi .

I went from 14ish mpg to my last calculated mileage of 16.7mpg. I also adjusted my driving style so I dont know for sure which is responsible. Instead of slowly acclelerating to speed and having little maintained speed miles before stoping, I started accelerating with around 10lbs boost to speed and then maintaining speed.

I'm going to try more starwheel adjustment and turning the "smoke screw" up and see if I can get better.
