Wow, 700 for some unknown cooler where the condenser might not bolt to properly anyhow or a couple hundred for a known good configuration and get the condenser to hang in there seems almost a no brainier. Course I'm cheap.....

They're using the original side tanks, so the condenser will most definitely bolt right on.

Also, dazedandconfused, he only uses the internet for e-mail and junk like that. He's not on much. Plus, he finds it pointless for me to have one and him to have one. I agree with him there. If he ever needs any questions answered I either already know or can jump on here and ask y'all. and Yes, I have the red flatbed.

Well it seems like asking our advice and opinion doesnt help none since he wont listen to the advice.

My sentiments EXACTLY.
I can understand being a teenager, and not really knowing what the old man is going to say or do, though. :(

At first your advice was helpful, I was wanting to know what was best. In the middle of this thread though, I informed you all of a change in plans. Those plans were that dad was having one built. This thread just kinda kept draggin' on though.

CS, we kinda do that here, or we start twisting and the thread is way off the original track. Just thought I'd warn you about it, because kinda it's common. ;)

It happens on every forum,

Anyway guys, I got my I/C back yesterday. They used the original tanks but they put a 2 1/4in thick core in it. It flows much better IMO. My interstate EGT's dropped a good 100-200 degrees. I just thought I'd update you all on that. It fit good too. Other than the condenser being a hare bit more snugged up against the I/C. :)

Does it look anything like this? This is a powerstroke IC for reference.

No man, I just told you they used the stock tanks. It looks identical to a first gen I/C but it has a 2 1/4 in. core. I know what a PS I/C looks like. This is my intercooler, they just rebuilt it, beefed it up a bit, and did a fantastic job.
