Rear Freeze Plug

Postby ekk33 » Sun Jul 31, 2011 5:21 pm

Just had the rear freeze plug rot out on the 92.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this fixed?
Option 1
Remove old plug and reinstall new plug?
Is it possible to drop the rear of the transmission enough to be able to get to the plug. then put in one of the billet plugs

Option 2
Bolt a plate over the back of the block using the bolt holes on either side and use gasket material to seal it , and leave the plug in
Does anyone know the dimensions between the bolt holes so I can fab a plate, or does some one have a block they could measure for me?

Thanks,

Eric
