I always start checking in order of the cheapest fix to the most expensive. I would start by removing the intake cross over tube and check for an accumulation of oil coating the inside. That would indicate a turbo seal thats letting lube oil enter the intake.
Then next in order I would check the crankcase breather for excessive oil leaking from the tube. This would indicate a problem with a cylinder leaking such as a cracked ring, galled cylinder, cracked piston, or a combination there of.
Then I would run a compression check to confirm the cylinder problem.
You need to find and confirm the source of the problem BEFORE you start ordering the parts to fix it.
