Crankshaft question?

Postby Doge Ram 350 » Wed Oct 17, 2012 10:01 am

I want to swap from Automatic to 5 Speed. Have a complete 5 Speed Truck to Part out.

Can I mount the Transmission without Problems on my Cummins Engine that was Stock an Atomatic?

I´m not sure but is the hole deep enough in the Crankshaft for Transmission Input Shaft? Or are all Crankshafts the same?

Let me know

Here is a Pic from my Automatic Engine

All crankshafts are the same...no problem putting the 5 speed on it.

make sure you use the correct flywheel specific bolts.... it could get messy if you try and use the flexplate bolts on the flywheel

Yes I will use all Parts and Bolts from the Engine with the manual Transmission.
