VE pump found broken parts

Postby jdaivs1 » Wed Dec 11, 2013 2:04 am

Had a chance to get back to my pump. Looks like some of my problem is a broken piston spring and the distributor plunger head that goes into the (i think its called)top of the cam plate broke. Have a look! Image Image. No picture of broken spring. Nice little pieces of metal in places that they should not be. Can a used plunger be used? or not advisable.

Myself, I would try to find another head/rotor assembly...
