when I first bought my 92 Cummins it had a aftermarket coolant temperature sensor, located in the front of the engine by the thermostat. I run electric fans and that sensor is located where stock should be. The electric fans should turn on at 195℉ but they turn on at or over 210℉. The thermostat in the truck is 180℉. So my question is location the problem or do I have a bad sensor. Would switch in the sensors fix the problem. the engines is in a 93 Chevy so I can't run the stock fan, no room for it without a body lift. The gage in the truck stock Chevy.
