Cheap powerup grade for 89-90

Postby Keith Anderson » Mon Mar 10, 2008 3:03 pm

If you want a cheap and effective power upgrade, order some Bosch #7762 idustrial injector tips. I sent my injecors to an outfit in Utah and they cleaned and installed the new tips for under $1oo.oo. Made a considerable difference in my truck's performance and improved the mpg also. A win win situation..................................................bluedodge

I don't know the dimensions, but you can contact Goff Diesel Injection, 4866 So 190 W. Murray, Utah. Ph. 801 288 9222. Ask for Scott. He was the one that recommended the injector tips and did the retip and clean. Hope this helps...........................................................bluedodge

These injector tips may not work on a 91.5-93 as the early 1st gen injectors are larger than those one the later 1st gens. I tried some later 1st gen 230 hp injectors on my 90 ( I still have them if you are interested) and they did nothing but reduce the perfortmance of my truck. Scott could probably tell you. Let me know what you find out.........................................................bluedodge

The actual cost was $90.00 + shipping. This was 3 years ago, it may be a bit more now. Still a wonderful deal.............................bluedodge
