VE Injector Pump removal And replacement.

Postby ken59h » Mon Mar 30, 2009 3:36 am

Hi, from south Louisiana.
Need help have seal leak on the injector head of my 5.9L dodge. I ordered the Bosch seal kit. It came Sat now need to remove the pump replace the o-ring and reinstall.
I know it's a pain in the ass to explane to someone a step by step instruction on how to do this. My $ is very tight and I have mechanical experience.
I have gain a lot of good information here on different subjects over the last two months as I have been reading the different articles.
Or let me ask this; this drip, drip, drip around the head where all the fuel lines are piped too can it be put off for awhile?
Only drips while engine is running.

If you can live with the fuel smell, you could probably run it a while, but I would recommend fixing it ASAP.

Never even removed a VE and you are tackling a partial rebuild. You're braver than I am.

Welcome to the forum.
