Gov. spring

Postby slingshot » Mon Aug 10, 2009 6:44 pm

Does the factory gov. spring have any marking or numbers on them?
I had never noticed before, but after cleaning out my junk can on top of the fridge, I found the spring that I replaced with the one that has 366 on it.The one that I just found has 388 on it. Im just wondering if someone had already changed the spring, and I changed it again.

There was a thread on this a couple weeks ago. It seems some trucks got the 388, and others got the 386. The 388 is definitely tighter, and splits the difference between the 386 and 366, all else being equal.
