Rear Wheel Hop

I am sure that this has been discussed on this forum before, but since I am new to it, i am going to ask anyway. I have a little wheel hop in 2nd & reverse. I replaced the center carrier bearing, and it seemed to help some, especially in reverse. but, 2nd still hops...any suggestions?

Springs are tired.

OK. Tired springs...is there anything other than replacing these I can do, or is it even worth while considering that it only hops a little on takeoff in 2nd.

You can just live with it, take it easy, whatever, if that's more to your liking or budget. The problem with it though is, it gets increasingly harder on the whole driveline, especially the pinion bearing and rear u-joint. Those will get beat apart quicker, and you'll be in for related repairs more sooner than later anyway.
