Run's rough, white smoke, won't shut-off?

Postby NorthernBC » Sat Oct 17, 2009 6:53 am

I have a totally stock I/C 1992 that I use on the farm and it started acting up in the last week. First it started to stall when I came to a stop but when I gave it more throttle it would run fine. Changed the fuel filter and still no change. It now will not idle, smokes, and when I turn the key off it will not shut-down.

Could this be a faulty fuel shut off solenoid? Any suggestions?

It not shutting off would definitely be the shut down solenoid. The rest of it, I don't know. Maybe some of the rubber plunger broke off and is blocking some of the fuel floe into your pump.
