Throttle kicker

Postby cougar » Mon Nov 16, 2009 9:54 am

Anyone know of a throttle kicker that will work on or be adaptable to a VE.
I need to bump my idle up while the truck is warming up.
RIP 91.5 W250 5 speed. The great experiment.

I call it a hand throttle. The last 8" connected to the throttle lever is made out of chain so you can modulate it higher with the accelerator pedal going up grades. -- Poor man's cruise and infinitely adjustable high idle control all in one:

I need an electric solenoid for this purpose.
I have to consider who else uses the vehicle.
