whats next? im planning on putting a 5 speed in my truck with in a couple months so im saving up for some power goodies, my current mods are in my sig, id love some opinions on my options

-injectors, i want reliability and id like them to be decently clean not tooo oncerned about price because i wana buy a good set once

-turbo, im thinking s300 or hx40 i dont really know what would be a good conbination size wise cause i havent really played around with turbos, i have an hx35 now from a bus and its killing my tranny but spools great

-timing bump, Id like to keep my egts down, im hoping to thro in intercooler in this summer, but how much timing is a good idea?

-fuel supply right now i have a 30 psi piston pump and a reg any idea if thats enough for some bigger injectors?

id like to make a strong 400-450 horse and if possible 800or more tourque?, i am going to tow a bit but nothing majorly heavy some small town truck pulls in the summer
thanks guys

id love to throw some pictures up cause i know veryone likes a thread with pics, i have a photo bucket account but i cant seem to make it work do i just insert the pic like a url?

I was also looking for an hx40 till i talked to one of the older guys from schied down at the pulls in murfreesboro tn for about an hour and he thinks an s300 is way more reliable. He said that he hade an S300 on a VE pumped 5.9 in a ford and it was doing great....... but it could also be that he sells s300's. So now i don't know what to get. I'm going to be pulling more than most guys so i need a good reliable, and hopefully good performing turbo. I don,t mean to jump in on your thread i just hade that to say about S300 & HX40.

I've yet to clean up all the smoke from my stock N/IC injectors with my S300 and a blocked off wastegate, so unless you're going a step up from that or wanting to take some stress off your pump, I wouldn't beat yourself up over injectors.

On your photobucket home album page, let your mouse rest over a picture and a little box will pop up. There's like 4 seperate text boxes within that box, and to make an actual picture on this forum you just need to right-click and copy the "IMG Code" text box, then paste it in your reply. Make sure your in whatever specific album your pics are in, and not the page that shows all your albums together. The boxes won't pop up there.

Its been said by guys smarter then me that stock non-I/Ced injectors in good shape should support 350-400hp.

Mine is a 62/65/12, and if I had to guess I'd say it spools a tiny bit slower than the stock H1C did. If it actually does, it's not by much, but I haven't had the baby on there for a good while now so I can't really remember how it spooled.

I've got a 'Rag to put in so hopefully the 12cm housing starts to show it's worth. With the auto, I can just peg out my 1500* pyro in a good top end run.

Stock Injectors, fully backed out smoke screw, and fuel screw about 1 turn from runaway. I had it all cranked to the max, but with the baby on there there was just too much smoke. I threw the S300 on and just haven't needed the power, so I haven't really bothered to turn anything back up.

hmm okay i guess ill hold on to my stocker injectors for a while but eventually i want to be pretty compeditive in the pulls and im planning on going ppump at some point so if i was gona buy injectors id like to get some that would work with both pumps, i have a school buss with a ppumped 12v in it anyone think that that motor has better injectors in it? im guessing its a 220horse ppump anyway to tell without ripping them out?
