I dump a big bottle of PS in a 5 gal.can and top it offwith B99.
I then add about 3 qts to every fill up. Biodiesel is supposed to be great lube for our VE pumps :D

It makes me feel better to know that the added lubrication can only help out in the long run. My dad and I had 99 and 2000 powerstrokes at the same time the new low sulfer diesel came out. And boy let me tell you, as long as there was marvel mystery oil in my truck it wouldnt leak fuel. but forget to add some at a fill-up and it would start leaking everywere. I got tired of changing O-rings in them darn things, especially dads who wouldnt put oil it, but the added oil did help the leaking!

I just read a report on fuel additives a couple of days ago. for the life of me I cant remember where at. either on cummins fourm, or comp. diesel. It was originally posted on a powerstroke forum.Any way it was an independant survey, They tested the additives useing the same ulsd fuel. the best additive was B20 biofuel, followed by an additive called opti lube xdp. Stanadyne and Diesel clean were in the top 10. as was 2 cycle oil. dont recall what brand. the test was based on wether the additives made an improvement on lubricity I know thats spelled wrong. on a percentage bases. Not to burst anyones bubble, Marvel Mystery oil and ATF actually had a negative impact on lubricisity.?

Got a link to that article? I have been running Honda ZL-1 or whatever the heck it is. Can't say if there is a benefit or not. I can tell you I was given 9 cases for free.

B20 drops my MPG from 21 to 17+. More BTU's in straight diesel VS and biodiesel. Cetane level is higher in bio.

I was occasionally hauling straight soy bio 7000gal at a time for a while.

Keep in mind that this is fuel used in the tests had no additives put in it from the bulk plant. There is tanks with the additives there that are injected per the buyer's formula. When the bulk plant additives are injected they may get a bunch different results in lubricity.

Rumors among big truck drivers is Pilot doesn't put in the sames stuff as say T/A or Petro. Thus claiming their MPG's suffer with Pilot fuel.

So..... B2 fuel is at the top of the list? That works for me as my local truckstop has that and it is usually 3-5 cents less per gallon than the other fuel stops around in my area.
