Seat was fine, right under drivers seat you can see where I did a frame grind along the curb that ends back by the highway patrol car. I got lucky the car behind me followed the A- hole, got his plate and description. He came back and gave us the info, someone else also called chp with same story. And the cop in the pic wants to race me in his 69 camaro with a mild 454....... I'll kill him 8)

I was gonna just retorque the stock bolts, but I didn't want to snap the 20 year bolts, didn't want to pull the head to do studs, so I figured these were a good compromise and cheap enough to not kill me. I read every forum topic about them and people seem to have success so I'll see what happens, I do drive it like I'm trying to break stuff everyday. If the hg blows then I'll do studs. I'm my opinion cheap and quick upgrade , most ve motors don't make enough power to blow the hg under normal circumstances.

Yuuuuuup the valve covers leak, guess I get to take those washers out. But I did get the accident damage all fixed, at least it's like 2 steps forward, 1 step back, not my normal 1 step forward, break my leg, catch on fire!!!!

glad you got things fixed, look the gaskets over good the washers split them and thats why they leak. How come no one tells you this till after the fact??? I ought to put that lil gem of knowlage in Things Ive learned thread.
