got the truck back running today made a trip to get fuel and back without any issues. Went back with bolts and a thicker cummins brand gasket. Will start driving it around some later this week. Thanks for the help on my questions.

Remember to do a few retorques on it to make sure its fully seated after a few heat cycles.
