Yep, taxes are high on almost everything that has to do with motor vehicles here, the green politicians hate people like me, and i hate them to..
But, i wouldn't complain over the taxes if i knew that all that money was used to build new roads and improve the existing ones, but unfortunately only a small amount of all that tax income goes to that, and when they build something new, they put safety and environment in first place, that means more pedestrain walkways, more roundabouts and more "2+1 roads" i hate them because there is limited possibility to pass slow vehicles while driving in the 1-lane. they look like this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2%2B1_roadBut it's not only negative, we have quite good standards compared to many other European countries, and best of all, we have NO toll roads at all! Every new highway that is built is open for everyone. though i would prefer that they take some kind of road tax from foreign truck drivers using ur roads.
Sounds good that i can use biodiesel, it's more aggressive to rubber so that's why i'm concerned if the rubber components inside the pump is resistant to it, but they should be, my audi with a bosch VE-pump is approved for B100
