I chose the turbo I run because.....according to borg warner this "new" high flow turbine wheel outflows the 71 and out spools the 65. I believe it out spools the 65, yet have no comparison for flow wise. It also moves more air than any other 62 on the market.

Higher fuel psi......yes, if it is in a situation where it is allowing more timing. You are referring to engine knock as opposed to the pump itself making noise?

What do you mean by what is it? It's similar to the 62/71/14, but with a different exhaust housing (same size housing, but with a better wastegate design). The 62 wheel is a forged mill wheel from borg and flows 74 pounds a minute as opposed to 72 like the other 62 wheel. The 68 wheel has a j cup design to it to allow for better flow at high boost levels. And to top it off, it has a better bearing assembly.

All borg warner products.

LOL.... good point. With the proper v band style outlet on the charger that I run... retail pricing will be at $1499.00

Now, one can save a $100.00 if they are able to utilize the hose clamp style compressor outlet found stock on this turbo. I did this on mine....
