(mechanical engine driven mechanical piston fuel pump- about 250 $)
If I use that pump on the engine do I still have to have am electric pump inside the tank to work as a boost pump ?
(airplanes work like that- electric low pressure submerged pump in tank overfeeding an engine powered mechanical pump)
I think I have read that no one really trusts even the cummins pumps and their diaphragm.......
are there other piston pump possibilities in addition to the hungry diesel one ? I DEFINATELY don't want one which
has lowered reliability and leave you on the side of the road....... I am going for high reliability here.......
( I secretly know what you will say..... I just want to hear you say it so I can feel good about spending 250$ on a fuel pump )

The blow by is ALL GONE now- have run about 3-5 hours over about 10-12 short runs.
Put 1 big bottle of marvel in the oil and about 3/4 can of sea foam. Tried injecting some sea foam into the air intake-
but unlike a gas engine I could see NO reaction at the exhaust- no smoke- no change in idle - no detectable reaction.....
squirted it in with one of those machinist oilers with a pump.
oil pressure is about 50 - 60 on startup and reduces to about 38 when fully warmed up idleing. Really smooth engine.
