Anyway, Autometer may be top of the line in some fields, but diesel pyrometers have gained them a bad reputation. I wont buy any, for sure. I have had ISSPRO in about 4 trucks, and Danin (formerly DiProcol) came in my 92 W350. They dont look bad, but the white background looks out of place in a 1stGen.

Well I wish I would have known that little tidbit earlier! This new one they sent me is working fine, so I'm happy I guess. I always thought Isspro and Auto Meter were on par as far as functionality, guess I need to do more research next time

I thought that about the white background looking out of place in my truck also, but something about the way they look just made me really like them... I can't really explain it. All of my buddies run Isspro, so I wanted something a little different.

The night illumination is incredible on these gauges, way better than the Isspro gauges all my friends have. Not that theirs have poor night time visibility, these are just way brighter! Most people don't like that, but every car I drive I crank the dash lights all the way up... I like bright gauges. ;)
