Radiator Help!!

Postby mhuppertz » Mon Aug 06, 2007 7:14 pm

I bought a new radiator today, but there are differences between it and the original.
Here are my observations:
The inlet is necked down on the new one, the outlet is longer than factory, the core looks a little thinner, but has three rows, and the pour in hole is much smaller.
The company pulled the OEM number off my radiator and swore that this is the right replacement.
Is there a difference in radiators on air conditioned and intercooled engines???
Anyone know about this?
Thanks,
mark

the mopar catalog showed a different number for 91-92 vs 93, all with intercooler. they later combined the listings useing the same radiator for all 91-93 intercooled trucks, either std or auto trans. part #52028221 which listed for 375.00 but has since been discontinued. hope this helps
