IP specs.

Could someone with a manual, or access to Esi-tronic, tell me if Bosch gives a spec for clearance on the head and rotor.

The factory manual does not go into the IP. Past adjusting the idle it says to the shop.

I'd about bet that the clearance is in the tenth of thousandths range (.00010) or tighter.

I know it is close, but there has to be a specification.

I think someone should be the unlucky guy to test a 13mm H&R.
Anyone know of a mildly burned 14mm rotor to get machined?

Dan,
Here's a trick you can try.
Find one of the Ebay sellers who sell the re-man H&Rs and send him a note asking him how tight they hold the tolerances to, mention that you are curious about the quality control in the process of machining.

One who knows his product can tell you and most should not get bitchy or offended.
