Pins 11 and 12 on the PCM connector are the grounds. Looking at the connector from the wire side of the plug. Top row of wires. The first 2 wires to the left side of the hold down bolt. Both are tan wires. They meet in a juction somewhere with 3 more wires. So take a multi meter and pull the PCM plug and check these two pins to a good ground and see if you show contunity.

You replaced the crank senosr. What did you set the gap at?

They said there should be a guage in the box for the sensor. But there was'nt so they told me to use the thickness of the box for the gauge. So that's what I did. What is the proper setting? I thought about this. But didn't know why it would work for awhile, then stop.

The gap is .050" or there abouts.

If it is moving around on its mounts or a stud is broken. That could cause intermittent problems.

Your PCM is grounding the auto shut down relay circuit. We just haven't found the reason why yet.

Do you have a tach in the truck?

Look at the PCM outputs in the FSM. There is nothing for AC from the PCM. All the PCM does in interupt the AC signal threw the auto shut down relay. I wouldn't call that control. Control to me is a PCM output for the acessory itself.

Obi-Wan?
After consulting with various gods and the FSM, I have found you are incorrect! The PCM controls it thru the "wide open throttle cutout relay". Direct path.
May the Force Be With You!

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Actualy Pete there is a PCM output for the A/C compressor. I missed it all the times I have been threw the FSM. In your book page 8W-67. Lower right corner. Pin 27 is the A/C compressor.

But the WOT is another circuit I don't think of as a PCM control. It is a circuit to interupt only.
