Hey;

Anybody know where the spec sheet is that says the Cummins is good for 1250 degrees?

It doesn't say anything along the lines of "1250 degrees continous, 1050 sustained" or anything like that, does it?
1990 D-250 Regular Cab: Tweaked injection pump, built transmission, a cataclysmic charlie foxtrot of electronics, the most intense street-ran water injection system in the country, and some more unique stuff.

Contact the site owner and ask for further info on where the spec came from. I'm sure it's in writing somewhere per Cummins.

I ask because I stumbled across this page when I was looking for bore x stroke spec's...

It says that Cummin's literature specifies 1250 as max, but then lists 1050 as max sustained... Which I've never heard before.

I've spent well over 10 minutes at 1250, so it kind of concerns me to the point where I'd like clarification....

Banks says you can run all day at 1300, so I'd guess the EGT listed is conservative.

Never heard that one either...
