think most guys are ordering that turbo with a 12 or a 14 housing

i just got mine with a 13 stainless housing and would love to compare it to the 14 cast

order yours with a 14 cast and we can switch for a minute to see which one ea of us likes better

i dont know how much fuel you are going to put to it but if want it to rip i dont think you will be happy with anything smaller than a s300 series turbo

in 62/65 config it makes the truck a totally different monster - again, never tried it in the stock 57/65 config so dont know the difference

when dont you want it to haze? at idle? cruising? towing? i dont know that you can put very much fuel to these old trucks w/o some haze somewheres.

If you have haze, you have fuelling issues (or PODs). I've never been on a dyno except for emission testing in CO, so I cant compare numbers, but I have kept up with newer trucks (02 PSD auto, chip and exhaust) with little to no smoke at WOT. My current setup will let me make 38psi boost and a little poof of smoke til 15-1600RPM. Then nothing but noise and hauling butt.

Pump tuning and some 50-75hp injectors will top 300hp easily. Remember, timing can either help or hurt you- get is set right. It will be worth the $50 for the dial indicator if it will save a head gasket or fuel. Depending on injector pressures, I'd recommend 1.5-1.6mm. Any more than that, and I have found no improvement in performance, though my performance is judged by MPGs and towing torque, not necessarily absolute numbers.

I'm in Kamloops, BC. I checked PDR and I really don't want to drop $1700 plus taxes (not as fortunate as you Albertans!). I'll look at hybird options.\I was just wondering because I have a friend in Cgy whom I can ask to some places out for me.

i just got a quote from the guy in the next town up from me (i dont live right in calagry) He is selling BD power and he quoted me 1300$ for the BD Super B single , I think i can work him on getting the Super B special for close to the same, PLus he has it in stock . I am going to see if i can talk my brother inlaw into buying at the same time. He just picked up 1St gen with the p pump. This guy has the dyno and all so i might even get to dyno the truck too

That's awesome! What kind of exhaust housing are you going to get? Sounds like they are way more reasonable out there! Gonna have to stop next month when I am thru... Keep up the post. Would like to know what the results are.
Mike
PS - are you getting injectors at the same time...??!!
