hello, I have a 91 1/2 truck 190000 (as if it matters) The truck will crank fine and once its running it runs perfectly and tows with no trouble. It used to crank and instantly fire, however now you have to crank it and crank it and crank it about 10-15 sec and hit the gas pedal to get it to fire, once its running you have to hold the pedal open about 2-3 sec or it will stall again. This has been goin on for about 2-3 weeks, my buddy helped me turn the fuel up about 2 months ago, so I don't think this is the cause. But just thought Id throw that in. I know alot about engines and all things gas, but im new to the diesel world so any help would be great. I read somewhere about a hole in the "suction" line and the pumps were essentally losing prime, don't know and Im not sure where that even is, im assuming in the tank.
Thanks,
Ryan
