little deal that rides on the fuel pin? a buddy is having some trouble getting it to move.

Start the truck and do a couple donuts?

Take the top of the pump off?

mine was like that at first

with the fuel cone removed if you spray a little LPS down there and wack the throttle a few times it might free up and pop out

otherwise yea, you will have to take it apart...

just in case you were wondering, the best way is to remove the plug on the front of the AFC stack (after removing the throttle linkage). no pump top removal.
