To make a long story short, I am putting a 6bt from an 89 w250 into a 89 Ford F350 and adding a 3rd gen intercooler. I am wondering how people are piping the stock turbo (non-intercooled) to run an intercooler?
Are most just geting an adapter (guessing 2" to 3") to go from the turbo outlet and a 90 elbow and adapting that to fit the stock intercooler piping? Or should I be upgrading my compressor housing to later style to use the stock elbow?
This truck is mainly going to used for towing a 14k gooseneck and 5th wheel camper.
Thanks
