okay heres a dum question that i dont know the answer to, why cant you make 14mm pump and make it bigger to a 16mm, you would need a big turbo, realy big injectors, what you think

i think it has somethin to do with the 16mm plunger assyembly being to heavy and not being ablbe to run higher rpms but i could be wrong.

I believe that anything after 14 mm required a total redesign of the cylinder; the 14 is a bored out 12, but there isn't enough material to bore it out to 16.

And there isn't enough of a market or advantage in going to that kind of expense.

It'd be more inertia to overcome at high RPM, but I think the extra fuel that it would flow would be more than enough to make up for that.

That's my take on the situation, anyways.

i was lookin at my 14mm head and plunger and it looks like there would be enough room for maybe 15mm but not 16 i just wonder how much more flow could be had cuz i can probably get one made for under 500 bucks

Going to be tough when the ball for your control collar is digging into your plunger.
