Flames???

Postby hassy21 » Mon Nov 26, 2007 12:43 am

I have just removed my afc and put a 3200 gs in and I took it for a test drive and I jumped on it and left off and it shot a little flame out of the straight pipe out of my hood. Just wondering if that is normal or not?

I would say YES if you have enough unburnt fuel there.

mine only shoots the flame out when I let off and I know the stock turbo isnt hittin 35 psi on mine. It runs really good though, a lot more power and black smoke. I cant get on it till about 55mph because my tranny slips real bad. i can hit like 95 now that I did that and my 366 spring!

i wish my speedo went faster than 100 cuz it sure is easy to bury that and with the w/m off the flame is really kickin at speeds over 100 but the pyro is around1500 :hs:

I had the cruise set at 80 for several hours on 95 going to Fla a few weeks back. I don't think I've ever tried for any faster than that....course I don't know what speed the tires on the trailer are rated for. ;)
