I threw a s366 on it, with a .85 t3 and a 72mm exhaust wheel, it's building 35 lbs but it's spooling a lot quicker, this cleans up the smoke, but I'll check again for boost leaks and te case pressure with the pump, are there any other ways to check that ?

You're just plain running turbos that are too large for a ve .

My HX52 is larger than that turbo, I made 40+ with 5x14's. You're missing fuel somewhere, mang.

I watched a guy run a 13.3 with a 66/74/14 on his '92. Made about 50 psi if I remember right. I agree with Taco here, you're missing fuel.

And what about fuel pressure to the VE? Do you know what you have there?

Could you be blowing through the trans......not loading the motor up enough to be at full boost?

A 66/72/15-16ish is a big turbo. I would agree though that he should be getting more than 35 psi.

15 psi, could I be running the case low on fuel and it can't keep up with the injectors ? Also I haven't felt it slipping yet, but it's not a built trans by no means, so it could be that,

Also I was doing a burnout and it'll be in 3rd gear and the turbo will chuckle almost as if I let off the throttle, but I didn't, sound like I'm running outta fuel ?

Airdog, 6x16s, ground pin, m&h spacer, pump at stock marks/skipped a tooth, Specrite converter, john deere s300/68 that I put a 66ett wheel and .8 gated t3 housing on. My ksb was flipped on the whole pass.

This would have me at 50 psi crossing the 1/4 mile.

With what your describing your losing fuel, and your probably pushing through the converter a bit. A guy with a non lockup auto can not compare boost and egts to someone who has lockup or a clutch. Just doesn't compare. My egts were 1500 degrees at the end of the track, normal acceleration had me close to 1k.
Hope this helps you understand your own setup.
Eric

Ya, I bet it does have to do with the converter, I switched to a 66 with a t3, and I'm gettin 40 psi, and it's running really good, I'm gonna loctite the front seal and run 30 psi to it and see if it helps at all, I raced a 6.0 the other night and it's got an sct tuner on it and I launched in 4 hi at roughly 20 psi and I beat him pretty bad.. I have all the parts to p pump my truck but I'm planning in seeing what I can get out of this ve it's really surprised me.
