need help. truck not running right with new pumps

Its a 1990 cummins with just pump tunning and denny2 pin. Ran into some problems a week ago with a slide pin oring let go with a bad fuel leak. So I decided to change the injection pump out with a rebuilt one that I had and it has a 366 gov spring in it. So changed the injection pump out and I jump a tooth while I was in there. Tryed to prime the pump with no luck. Long story short bad lift pump changed out with a new second gen pump I had brand new installed that with a low pressure spring and it blead like a dream. Max this pump out and now it has less power then when my truck was completly stock with 0 pump mods where do I start??? Thanks in advance

Check to make sure you're getting boost to the AFC. You might have broken the line or simply forgot to connect it when swapping pumps.
