source for a good starter

Where do I find a starter that will last? My second Napa starter died and I'm done using them.

I've used the local no-name DC electric shop with consistent success. Usually the small shops rebuild them for cheap and they can do it while you wait. I want to say a rebuild from typical wear ran me $60.

Part of me likes keeping the little guys afloat and most of me is just cheap

No offense to those who work at parts stores, but I will never buy another starter from one again. The local auto/ag electrical rebuild shop does a better job, prices are comparable, and like cmann250 said, you also support your neighbors and local business.
